Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include to:
- Support the Board of Directors and the CEO in providing oversight of and ensuring that relevant corporate compliance risks are managed effectively and consistently throughout the Hydro Rein group.
- Own, implement and develop the Hydro Rein compliance framework.
Key tasks will be to:
- Proactively support and provide guidance to the Hydro Rein organization on compliance related topics.
- Develop and continuously improve our compliance framework with the purpose of preventing and mitigating the risk of violations of relevant laws and regulations in the execution of business objectives.
- Facilitate capacity building and training of the organization to develop compliance awareness and skills.
- Manage Hydro Rein’s “Whistleblower” channel and support investigations/reviews including identifying and supporting mitigating measures related to non-compliance matters.
- Represent Hydro Rein in relevant working groups and workstreams in joint ventures.
- Provide and coordinate corporate compliance risk input into Hydro Rein’s Enterprise Risk Management process.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in compliance roles, with experience in developing and implementing compliance programs in an international business setting.
- Master's degree in law, business administration, finance, or a related field
- Strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations, such as data privacy and anti-corruption laws.
- Experience in conducting risk assessments and developing strategies to mitigate compliance risks.
- Experience in developing and implementing compliance programs.
- Demonstrated ability to provide training and guidance on compliance matters to employees at all levels of the business.
Additional information
The Compliance Officer will report to the Chief Legal & People Officer in Hydro Rein. The role will be based in Oslo, Norway, or The Hague, Netherlands (based on your preference).
