The position
Legal (LEG) is the competence unit for all legal matters related to the Equinor group’s business areas and corporate activities and consist of legal experts, specialists, consultants and qualified support personnel. The department has overall responsibility for advising on all legal matters and on ethics and anti-corruption compliance and acting as the Corporate Bodies’ secretariat within the Equinor group.
By joining our team in Legal you will have the opportunity to:

Become a trusted advisor within the corporate team (LEG COR), engaging and providing advice and support on Norwegian and international activities within areas such as company law and governance, finance and financing, accounting, securities legislation and capital markets regulation.

Participate in and advise on financial market transactions such as bond issuances and credit agreements.

Engage in structured financing transactions, including financing of renewable projects.

Provide advice and support within other areas where LEG COR supports corporate staff and functions.

For this position, we are also looking for:
- More than 5 years of relevant experience from a recognized law firm, a financial institution or from working in an in-house legal role.

Good knowledge and experience within corporate law, securities law, finance, accounting and capital markets.

Excellent writing skills, as well as effective verbal communication and influencing skills.

An international mindset and good collaboration skills.

A professional level of English, both spoken and written.

Master of law or Cand. Jur. with high academic achievement - please include copies of your education transcripts with your application.
