We are searching for a team member with a law degree - or working experience with compliance matters - who will join our in-house Legal & Compliance team in Visma. We are an international team that works closely together with Visma Group companies across Europe on legal & compliance matters related to technology and software.

We are looking for a person with relevant work experience, preferably within data protection, sustainability, security and/or other technology related legislations. You should have great interest in technology, be solution oriented and enjoy the commercial aspect of legal matters.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Assist Visma companies and Visma Group functions in matters related to protection of data, with regards to European privacy and security legislation
  • Assist Visma companies with compliance issues relevant for technology companies, including legal advice and making assessments, guidelines, templates etc.
  • Stay informed and adapt to new EU legislation in areas like AI, security, and sustainability
  • Help manage security and privacy incidents
  • Assist with legal/compliance onboarding of new Visma companies and products
  • Provide guidance to Visma Group functions on general compliance
  • Play a significant role in shaping our modern compliance team
  • Participate in M&A activities, with a focus on due diligence

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds a Norwegian law masters degree - or has experience with working with compliance matters
  • Has minimum 1-3 years of relevant work experience, preferably related to data protection and/or sustainability legislation
  • Enjoys working with people with different roles and from different backgrounds
  • Is interested in learning more about technology in general and Visma software delivered to customers, in order to understand and help solve compliance issues
  • Possesses good written and verbal communication skills in both Norwegian and English
  • Is self-going, positive, structured, hands-on, pragmatic and solution oriented
